The Writing Stage Beckons Poem by Cynthia Buhain-baello

The Writing Stage Beckons

Writing is putting words to touch with beauty and with grace
But it will need some skill to put the meaning into place.

Spread out random words that just descend down a page
Are formless like mute characters who stand stiff on a stage

Words may occupy this world's insignificant space
But some create an impact that linger on through our days,

Excite our human feelings and express a noble cause
Wrought with careful study, make one take a moment's pause.

Well chosen words make the writing stage so vibrant
Like actors performing parts in ways truly relevant.

And so each one must master the skills we use when we write
Each piece we present may give someone a needed insight.
