There Is Fire In My Head

there is fire in my head
i am burning
there are cinders
under my feet
i am glowing

i feel the heat
all around me
more fires are
seeded
in my eyes

i am hot
and wild with
free ideas

i am ashamed
of myself
how i have
forgotten
the mechanics
of crying

water,
tears,
sweat,

i want to cry again
and recover
my true worth
