There Is No Joy Poem by Mehta Hasmukh Amathaal

“No there is no joy at all”
I come across statement when call upon
People do express and I listen to their woes
Life for them is certainly cruel when moves

I think it from many angles
Gout and search answer in jungles
I find joyous atmosphere
Birds and animals have their love to move here

It is not difficult to face
Any challenge with able body in race
It become all the more troublesome
When poverty hunts and situation is not welcome

Someone’s child has incurable disease
Someone’s life is not at all at ease
Everybody has some problems with journey
The way open for them is only prayer to almighty

It has led them to believe in invisible fear
This is how mankind thinks and resorts to prayers
Tries to address it by some charitable work
Some people try to preach with noble words

Rich and poor have different definition
Rich sees in it as blessings for recognition
Poor curses fate but believes in noble deeds
In short entire human race is infested with greed

“Why to bother about next birth “some one may argue
Why to die like insect and meet death? Others may try to view
Let anything happen to others
I shall take care of myself and only bother

“Hell with all speculations”
Many may point out and hurl accusations
If god was lenient with our plight
He might have not created position to fight
