There Is Torture Poem by Ima Ryma

There Is Torture

The U.S. should not torture folk,
The D.C. powers that be spout.
The U.S. tortures lots - no joke.
There's pain and agony no doubt,
That all the We the People feel
Inflicted upon by D.C.
Just the hot air is torture real.
But add to that dumb stuff done, be
Mental and physical abuse,
Is all that We the People get,
Just pawns for D.C. power use.
We've not been tortured enough - yet!

We the People take torture, cuz
We're gluttons for what D.C. does.
