There's A Love

There's a love that's out of this world
Yet came for a visitation
In the very person of the Lord Jesus Christ
The author of our so great Salvation
And down He came in humility
Imagine! ...our God becoming a man
And subjecting Himself to the vilest of treatment
Yet loveth! ...and loveth again...

And through all the things that came up against Him
Nothingcoulddetour from His plan
He plugged away in the course of His stedfastness
Such was His love for all men
There was a joy set before Him
That only eyes of faith could really see
The Cross became earth's centre of attraction
Praise God...praise God for Calvary

Such is the love of that Saviour
Who knew what sin's number could do
To rob us of a sure home in Heaven
But He had our eternity in view
The Light of the world Lord Jesus Christ
Lifted up that we might live
Love found a way to redeem our soul
With an out of the world love to forgive!

What name is above that wonderful name
I can't think of any other
Who would take all of our sin and the penalty thereof
To save every sister and brother
What a so great Salvation...amen!
To take death and strike it a blow
Removing our graveclothes saturated with sin
And washing us whiter than snow!

Hallelujah what a Saviour!
