If you look hard enough
There's a story to be found
Behind every smile
And every frown
Every old park
Where best friends once played
Every swing set
Where lovers would stay
Every skateboard
With scraped knees and groans
Every decrepit building
That was once a home
The crumbling gravestones
Of people once loved
Now resting in peace
Watching from above
The little things
In which we see no glory
Has once told
A magnificent story
