There’s More To Love

I thought I'd known of love before
I thought my feelings true
Till Heaven opened wide the door
And Jesus I felt You!

I thought the years had made me see
Had made me understand
Till true love came to set me free
And take me by the hand

Oh Lord sweet God who could have known?
What more has man perceived?
Such power to melt a heart of stone
Through He they have believed

Who can describe the great unknown?
Your secret things unfold
Where even spirits only groan
Of what remains untold

But yet is true love realised
Within The Truth You give
Forever is immortalized
In Him through which we live

Why did I have to wait so long?
For love my God to thrive
For me to sing it's awesome song
And truly come alive

I pray more children would awake
Would quicken more these days
Till all the earth may feel the quake
And sing The Master’s praise

But until true love’s contagious
Until the world’s on fire
Let us live and serve courageous
As those yet lost require
