There's no secret in being a good person in being a good woman or man
You can only live as good as you can live and live for as long as you can
You can help one in need of help out of trouble you can do a good deed every day
There's no secret in being a good person it's that some people are born that way.

There's no secret in being a good person there are good people in every town
A good person never bad mouths one or in any way does put one down
A good person will never abuse you since good people are not that way inclined
You do not have to search for good people since good people are not hard to find..

Good people are found in all classes in every race, gender and creed
A good person will come to help you in your moment of greatest need
People have risked their lives for strangers saved them from a premature grave
Yet could not see themselves as worthy as being referred to as brave.

There's no secret in being a good person since goodness is a natural thing
Good people are the quiet achievers and their praises few bother to sing
They help out the poor and the elderly without ever asking for pay
And they feel good about helping out others since that is their natural way.
