There's No Tree That Won'T Ever Bend Poem by Tanya K.Tuomi

There's No Tree That Won'T Ever Bend

There's no tree that won't ever bend
Under winds of storm
And the brighter the sun the darker shadows
Lay on the ground
When all feelings are like amplifier which volume controller's
Switched to the highest point
When our hearts are like skinless flesh
Been touched by the laser ray
All the innocent questions turn
To some deadly snake
All the careless answers pierce
Like a pin with a poison tip
And the closer the summit
The weaker your fingers' grip
There are many daredevils died
Just in a mile from the Poles.
There are hundreds climbers who slipped
Down in one pitch from the top
And though we're drawn to each other compellingly
Like magnet's attracting iron
This road is twisting along a profound still
And the speed is too high
How I need your strong hands to hold this rope
When I'm starting to fall
How I long for your soothing embrace when I behave
Like a mouse under a shade of an owl
Keep me breathing my fairytales in by keeping
Your faith in me
Be my lighthouse built on the highest rock
during the new moon nights...
