There Was A Woman Poem by Paulina Martin

There Was A Woman

I once knew of a woman
Who was very bossy
She would alaways make a plan
Better follow it, or she'll take it awfully

I once heard of a woman
Who was very nosy
She would peep through all your belongings
Better let her do it, or things will end badly

I once saw a woman
Screaming at the top of her lungs
'Do this' and 'Do that! '
She screamed so hard that my ears rung

Do you know who she is?
Her screams, have you heard?
Well, I do, and let me tell you
She's my dear loving mother
