There Was This Woman Poem by Suki Nakamura

There Was This Woman

there was this woman in out town
and she was by all means
of ill-repute
flirting and having a taste
of lust
like she is in for the usual
breakfast

and shall i envy if she takes in the
crown and sash as ms. pleasing personality?

i think i have my own reason
for my self-restraint for honestly
i am at home
in purity and simplicity and
grace.
