There Will be No Ring
By: Taylor Donnelly

What am i doing wrong

Because i've been feeling cold for so long

No hand to hold

No future told

No body to warm these shaking bones

No thing to help walk though the unknowns

But i'll keep quiet in my own way

Because really what is there to say

I'm second string

There will be no ring

No makeup could fool them

No one to condem

I'll write about it as if it were

and talk as if it did occur

and in the end i'll grow sour

But even that would break my feverish heart

Even then i cant play my own part

The second string

The substitue thing

There will be no ring
