These 4 Seasons Poem by nikki irvine

These 4 Seasons

These 4 seasons,
Fall into tune
Its just one big log flume.

Spring is my time,
Time to fly and feel the wind in my hair and the rain on my skin,
The freshness in the trees makes me fall to my knees
The flowers bloom and grow
Which doesn’t make me feel so low,
So I don’t have to fray
Just like March, April and May.

Summer is hot and it’s the way I like it,
Sun, sea and sand everyday
Short nights and long days it’s the best of the holidays! !
Riding bikes down the hilly climbs
Splashing about in the pool or reading a book or playing boul,
I just enjoy the summer and I like it like no other
As its June, July and August

In the Autumn
Leaves fall and change colour,
As to rainbows and their puddles
The stars start to gleam in the night sky
And the moon rides high
Clouds come and go to where ever they please
Along the rhyme there is no fine
But its all just lemon and lime! ! ! ! ! !
It’s not wasting my time
Nor is September, October and November.

Here is the cold Winter
The snow is all around me
Snowflakes fall and Snowmen grow,
As this is the time which is full of surprise
Presents around the Christmas tree,
Singing Choirs along the quiet road
So I don’t have to lift heavy loads,
The cold is here
Hat, scarf’s and gloves all around
Just trying to keep me warm and profound.
New Years here and it goes out with a bang
As it goes round and round
Boy this year has gone fast
Just as it was December, January and February.

All of a sudden we are back to Spring
What a lovely thing,
I can laugh out loud and raise my voice to a new spring

They are my seasons
Don’t they sound grand? ? ?
Just the way they flow
It’s the feeling I know
Its hope, laugh and I grow! !
