These Sad Songs...
The sad songs on the radio
don't even begin to explain,
how the emptiness in my heart
lingers so deep within.
I get lost in the lyrics
trying to feel that emotion.
But my pain is far greater
than the words describe.
My loss of that love
feels more like a death.
Lived too short, loved with all I had
and died before it's time.
