These Thoughts Poem by Ryan Holmes

These Thoughts

He has these thoughts, terror stricken
I don't know what to make of him
People will not just let him be
They talk to him, yet cannot see

Of what he always contemplates
He has always been hurt by hate
The decisions that he can't make
Leave him helpless, he can't relate

With anybody, anymore
He always stands outside the door
These horrid thoughts of suicide
These thoughts are dancing in his mind

Yet he must manage day by day
He's mastered his own poker face
That way, these thoughts that no one knows
Will not seep through, these thoughts won't show
