They Own Team Winner Poem by Manonton Dalan

They Own Team Winner

light seeping my door
footsteps rasping floor
expecting a knock; none
oh! just passing shadow
closing closet, click
of car key; rolling wheels

silence came never disturb
I am alone with my dreams
watching sea hawks losing
a rain stop race just ended
with 88 winning phoenix race
that's my days end, sleep
ready for tomorrow's story
which I listen with smile
