Things My Dead Mother Told Me Poem by lost soul

When I was so much younger then,
when I was just a child,
I remember the words my mother said
I remember them when she died:

''There'l come a time
God takes me from, this world that I once loved,
.......to another place, a resting place
beyond the sun and stars,

A time
when you will hurt inside,
a time,
when you will cry,

A time
when you are all alone
and you'l come to where I lie,

And on that night
when you close your eyes
and your sleep gives way to dreams,

On that night
I'l be waiting in heaven,
and your dreams shall bring you to me.''
