Thinking Creatures Poem by Harlan Simantel

Thinking Creatures

what do they think
those creatures of His?

ladybug
turtle
tree
sparrow
flower
i mused by my power

their thoughts
we aren't privy to
but if only
we knew
we'd be amazed
me and you

i know they think
because when He returns
trees clap their hands
Creation itself
applauds as it stands
