This Affliction Poem by Oyekake Satty (O S) Joshua

I do not know Him quite enough
Nor do I understand His vastness!
While I tremble under this weight
While I panic in light afflictions
As if acquitted from His comfort
To wonder why He hides His face
And the path before me obscured
I do not know Him quite enough
Nor understand His faithfulness!
While I feel my rights disregarded

That I may know the everlasting One
The King, the Creator and Sustainer
Of the world, the ends of the Earth
And to be secure in His confidence
And to stand firm amidst stormy gale
To fasten my hope in His sovereignty
To feast in the knowledge of His truth
To be drenched in His ageless wisdom
To be embolden by His understanding
To live unafraid, unfettered by doubt
