This Busy Life Poem by Jonathan Goldman a.k.a JGthepoet

This Busy Life

Anxious am I, that I’ll not survive
The turmoils of this busy life.
Hurrying here, scurrying there,
To appointments with people who haven’t a care,
To let you know they’ve been delayed,
By transport or others, ~~ why be dismayed.
It happens quite often, ~~ we all understand,
But it’s no excuse for every woman or man.
To say “I’m sorry” will not amend the delay,
Or the time that was wasted, day after day.

In Towns and in Cities, the bustle is great,
All people are hurrying to seal their own fate.
Why can’t people wait? ~~ Take time to enjoy
The wonders of Nature, and how they relate
To all humans and animals that fill this World
Which The Almighty, with Greatness, did create.
