This could be goodbye
This could be the end
No use in asking why
Can no longer pretend

We'’ ve had our times of joy
All those moments to enjoy
But happiness is dangerous
Its being fleeting is so obvious

This could be goodbye
This could be our end
But at least we had our try
Held on together ‘ til the end

We took our chance and dared
All those trials that we shared
We proved our love is strong
That we cannot go wrong

But nothing lasts forever
All good things come to an end
Let us enjoy our time together
Before we face our bitter end

For this could be goodbye…
This may be the end…
There are no reasons why
Let us no longer pretend…
