This is for you
Because you don't have the time to realize how amazing you are
I'm going to tell you

You are AMAZING
You are the sun that gives us light
Without you nothing grows
Without you there is no life
You are the definition of a strong black woman
When Maya Angelou wrote Phenomenal Woman
She must have had you in mind
Because there is no one more loving, gracious, or kind
You sacrifice you sweat you bleed
So everyone else can have what they need
You give your last crumb to eat
To any stranger you greet
You smile that amazing smile
That hides your worries and your pains
You smile that amazing smile
And promise things will change
You love with that amazing heart
That puts other's love to shame
You are the sun that lights the dark
Without you nothing can remain the same
