Knows what it's like to win it all
Then lose everything you had

This Old Soul knows what it means to love
How it feels to have your heart broken
To have your spirits fly above

This Old Soul's stared death in the face
Discovered the will to live
Still, welcomes its embrace

This Old Soul's heard the voice of reason
Perceives when to stand and fight
Understands when it's been beaten

This Old Soul's battled depression & addiction

This Old Soul's seen the in-between

This Old Soul's fought hard for your attention
