This Road Poem by Annette Liliann

This Road

This road that i take is a road of a maze
Thorn bushes and poison berries, Wild weeds and snare of bugs
Along the way of this road
I walk in hesitant...with strong urge to always go back
Afraid, unfit, awkward, a shame...
A cold chill in my bone
I heard laughter and roar of the beasts
In the shadow of evil castle
A road of confusion and heartache
Far away from my comfort usual way
The moment i decided to go back...
I hear a loving whisper...” I am here...”
So I take his hand... and walk again
Though the shadows caused me nearsighted
And the howling of the wolf impaired my hearing of his words
I never let go of his hand...and walk one step at a time
For somewhere in this road... a dear lover is waiting to be found
And i come to give you a light, to take you home, to care for your wounds
Listen to me, ...I will found you in this road
Dont loseheart ....wait and see
As long as i hold my King’s hand...and take one step a time
We will come home safe...
We will come home safe.

There are so many paths that we can take. We don't always know where they will lead us. There are some signs up ahead though that will give us some kind of hint. In this poem came the sign of a whisper that would be a door to love. An awe inspiring write.
