This Room Called My Heart Poem by Aisha Sherazi

This Room Called My Heart

Rating: 4.5

There’s not enough room,
In this heart of mine,
To house these emotions,
I feel deep down inside.

There’s not enough space,
To fit it all in,
Not enough time,
To say what’s within.

I need to offload,
Some of what I feel,
I need you to know,
This is very real.

Maybe I could share,
What I carry with me,
And then I’d be relieved,
I would feel much more free.

Much lighter than before,
I’d have a little room,
To analyze this love,
My life I could resume.
