This Thing Poem by Mark Normand

This Thing

Rating: 4.9

I will try for a thing.
Of great beauty that sings.
With those who would bask in it's light.
I have been in distant dreams.
With out recalling what I'd seen.
All of their meanings were kept from my sight.
Until a small voice still and soft.
Whispered words that had been lost.
And all at once I saw everything so clear.
The days they are all evil.
But the nights are filled with people.
With hope in Gods promise of redemption.
Filled with love waiting for the new beginning.

Succinct. Beautiful.
