Those Eyes
Those sad eyes,
Scared and lonely;
Eyes of those
Who have noting,
No warm home
to look forward to
Everynight.
Just a cold box,
Next to a fire
Maybe.
A saw the sorrow that day
I felt the pain,
But whatever I felt
Was nothing
Compared to what they go through
Every single day.
Struggling for warmth.
Struggling for food.
Watching tas those
That think they are better
Walk away.
Without a glance.
