Those Eyes Poem by Tyler Burke

Those Eyes

Rating: 5.0

It stops you in your tracks
They steal your attention
What others had always lacked
And even knowing that was a sensation

These eyes they call
These eyes they call
You truly couldn't resist
The temptation was simply too much

A passing time and grueling wait
But sure again they reappeared
I put my trust all up to fate
To Her again his mind had steered.

The lust of mind
Curiosity of the heart
Oh what my eyes did find
Creation right at the star

As to their beauty
I can speak not
Only because you wouldn't see
Exactly what I've got

These eyes are stunning
These eyes are gorgeous
This girl is something
She's seemingly flawless

Snowbanks and sunsets
It was a dream come true
To dive into your eyes when we met
I fell immediately in love with you

To all the senses appealed
For all the thoughts run through my mind
I thought this was too good to be real
But real it was and the girl was truly mine

These eyes I can't describe
These eyes are better than words
But they burst with color so fine
These eyes are the only kind in the world

How I crave to look at them
They somehow always find mine too
She chose mine over all that were sent
To fall in love with eyes who knew
