Though Some May Show Poem by Francis Duggan

Though Some May Show

Though some may show you disrespect which is not your due
To your higher self you can only stay true
And though trading insults with anyone may not be a crime
It surely indeed seems a waste of good time
Disrespect to themselves they only do pay
Those who reflect on others in a derogatory way
The game of derogatory words with them do not play
The Karma they sow it will be their's one day
There are things in life on which one ought to believe
Such as those who know how to give can expect to receive
One law of the Universal Karma to many well known
Do not expect good fruit if poor seed you have sown
What goes around comes around as some do say
And the Karma we sow it will be ours one day.
