Thoughtless Poem by shimon weinroth

Thoughtless

Rating: 5.0

A passing comment shoots it down
A smirk, a sneer, a critics jeer
Is all it takes
To impale a work of art

The artist bleeds
And the bells do toll

A work was laid to rest
By a passing comment

A smirk, a sneer
Without a word of cheer

This certainly deserves a word of cheer Shimon - you've conveyed this superbly. Justine
