Did i think that we were happy
Stupid of me now i know
Did i really think you loved me
Maybe once but long ago

All those lonely nights you left me
Did i think where you might be
All those days i hardly saw you
did you ever think of me

Did i pray you would, n, t leave me
Want to beg you not to go
Is she young and very pretty
Did you think i did, n, t know

As you turn your back towards me
In one bed but miles apart
No i did, n, t think you loved me
But i know you, ll break my heart
