Thoughts About Him Poem by Uma Pochampalli Goparaju

Thoughts About Him

Intention was to pluck the stars and weave a garland to offer Him,
Bad luck hit me, I cannot pick anything without disturbing Him
Wherever the eye goes, I find Him always there...
Oh pity to think I can offer Him anything!

I like to give my voice, but there is no rhythm
I like to write a poem but there is no rhyme
I like to offer my love but the heart is stolen
I can still consider offering something, my soul remains

My heart, all the time slipping away
In the turbulent waters of passion
Escaping the tendrils of relationships,
Would it ever reach Him in its pure love?
