Through Mothers Eyes Poem by Loretta Solon

Through Mothers Eyes

Rating: 4.5

Well my child, I love you, although my hair is turning gray,
Try to think of yesterday, before time slipped away,
"For time is quickly passing, fading before my eyes
and the mom and dad of my childhood, has lived and has died."
Through mothers eyes I see you, "Someday reflecting me."
Always remember mother, although her hair is turning gray.
"Always remember mother, I'm just a phone call away".
So many things I should have said and done, I regret now that they're gone.
"I understand now mother, how you felt so alone".
Through mothers eyes I see you, "Someday reflecting me".
Through mothers eyes I see you, "Someday reflecting me".
Well my child, I love you, although my hair is turning gray,
try to think of yesterday, before time slipped away,
for time is quickly passing, fading before my eyes,
and the mom and dad of your childhood, has lived and has died.
Through mothers eyes I see you, "Someday reflecting me,"
Through mothers eyes I see you, "Someday reflecting me."
