Thy Lover's Bed Poem by Sierra Staten

Thy Lover's Bed

Rating: 5.0

Guiltlessly slumbering in thy lover's bed is Life's true gift.
When I lie so close a heartbeat serves as my lullaby,
So near that in a swift move I could kiss your comatose body,
And you would never know.
Sweet words could be spoken to ears that are not listening,
All the while I influence thy dreams to be faithful to one's desires.
And upon awakening, the grin you receive in response to 'Good Morning' is not just a grin,
But a symbol of Life's greatest pleasures you'll never know about.
