Tick Talk Poem by Little King of Sorrows

Tick Talk

Rating: 4.3

The clock on the wall ticky taunts me.
But what it says I cannot know for sure.
Pethaps it reminds me of how long you have been away and laughs as I sit and think of you today.
Each tick another moment spent without you.
Another could've been, should've been, gone to waste again.
Another hour dead inside.

The clock on the wall tricky talks me.
Reminding me of impending death beyond the horizon.
As I sit in my disgrace and misplaced honor.
A reminder that the night draws near, another day wasted by my own fear.
Another could've been, should've been, gone to waste again.
Another hour dead inside.

Thank you for caring. I have since replaced that pest on the wall with a much quieter digital clock. Everything is now peaceful for the moment.
