Tied To Nancy Poem by PATRICIA DOBROSIPEARSON

Tied To Nancy

A POETRY RIDDLE

Tied To Nancy
Drown by a broken woman
What a tale to tell,
1400 feet and no toes
Tied to nancy's sail.

Undertaking death
Overtaking ale
Marked by a cross of his own making'
Tied to nancy's sail.

Vikingsholm a friend to ghosts
Fannette island for tea and toast
Captains parties for the host
Tied to nancy's sail.

No rest for barter
No business for granite chambers
Tales to remember
Tied to nancy's sail.
