Time Poem by Adelaide

Time

As the roses die,
I'll bring more for your grave.
It' hasn't stopped raining
since that fateful day

The walls came tumbling down
breaking the glass beneath
It's was like pandora's box
everything let out, to destroy, as the knife was taken out of it's sheath.

It's been years but I can't forget.
How much to me you meant
but, how little time we actually got.

The only thing that saved me was the thought of you,
the only thing that broke me was the memory of you leaving...
