Unique is time upon the earth
As seen through mortal eyes
For man it starts at moment’s birth
And stops at his demise

Time ceases at the Lord’s command
At Jesus’ feet lies down
There’s no more flowing of the sand
When God receives its crown

Almighty God, The First & Last
Who made man out of slime
What stops Him walking in the past?
Or far beyond our time

What God has promised years ahead
Awaits for man to meet
No single word Lord Jesus said
Returns to see defeat

The One who watches all mankind
Each thought and deed discern
Can change at any time His mind
Then in man’s past return

To do there all that must be done
To bring His child on track
Did God not even stop the sun?
Then turn the shadow back?

The Lord’s not governed by the sands
For Him all time stands still
Is all not in His mighty hands?
To do His perfect will?

To God, the future’s never strange
The past is never gone
In both He still can so arrange
What should or not be done…
