Time and time again
The feeling that we call love
Has intruded upon my self being
And has wrought havoc beyond believing

Every time I end up falling before its allure
Only to be blinded into seeing a world of wonder
Where I wander senselessly until the day
I am violently awaken to a world
That lays in smitten

It has hacked its way through
To the deepest recesses of my soul
And has laid claim upon my heart
Without a single ounce of mercy

Blindly I walk through this feeling
With a sense of awe and splendor
Only to awaken
To a world in ruin
