Time Can't Heal All Wounds Poem by Rachel Dowd

Time Can't Heal All Wounds

Rating: 4.0

They say time heals all wounds
Then why does this one still bleed
You where my hero
Simply my everything
My rock
My shelter
My protector
My guide
You made everything okay
Now everything's wrong
Nothing is right
Now that you're gone
Time can't heal fatal wounds
My heart is broken
I'm out in the open
Left for dead
Forced to be the protector for others
You were the only one that would listen
I learned that too late
Now I wish I could tell you that I loved you
But I can't
This wound is one that will forever bleed
Time can't heal everything
