Time Goes By Poem by Mariah Clary

Time Goes By

Rating: 5.0

As time goes by,
Faster than a blink of an eye,
We are not it's master,
We shouldn't sit and rot,
For memories can soon be forgot,
So don't be down,
This afternoon,
There's no time to frown,
Go and do something fun,
Hop, jump, skip, and run,
Even read a cartoon strip,
Lead your life,
The way you want,
Don't let the past haunt you,
Because it didn't last,
So don't quit,
As you've grown,
Prove that you can still move,
No matter your age,
I can assure you,
Life doesn't go as planned,
But always spend it as long as you can.
