This is a letter to tell you that I’m doin just fine but I miss you
However it’s been 4 seasons of loneliness and I wish I could kiss you
Yesterday I thought about you and all my troubles returned
It was like lookin at the ribbon in the sky that started to reburn
In the still of the night I was reminded how we let it snow
And we sat there exchanging words and I said Please don’t go
You promised me you wouldn’t but time passed you by
And I sat away cold and lonely so I began to cry
Eventually I was cool though to say goodbye to yesterday was hard
Seeing as we fought through trying times but now you’re so far
But you know I thank you for helpin me write that song for mama
And just bein there vibin’ as our life was free of drama
I was hopin I could stand at the altar and tell you I do
But you were always a Jezebel and you had my heart too
I remember I was on bended knees beggin it to stay you and I
It couldn’t be that way so we’ll just let the waters run dry
I told you I would get there whenever cause you were my girl
But U know I sit away as my life takes me all around the world
I guess now it’s the end of the road and I’ll pack away the glove
One Sweet day we’ll meet again but don’t ever forget the Color of love.
