Time Is So Precious

How are you spending your days now?
The nights before you sleep?
To whom or what do your knees bow?
What company do you keep?

Man's life is for judgement living
God's reasoning of goals
The purpose of Heaven given
Free will, to personal souls

Will life's instructions man obey
With Heaven's will in mind?
Or will we decide our own way
More pleasing things to find?

As if The Father's not enough
Good things for us in store
For all His children wondrous stuff
Beyond each mansion door

Has not who wrote the bible told?
Things yet, no eye has seen
Up and around life's streets of gold
Where no one yet has been

Consider well these things my friend
Whilst on life's winding way
What surely soon will come to end
That occupies today

Will life's Judge be glad to see you?
The facts you have to tell
Will life in Heaven be in view
Or endless pain in hell

The time grows daily ever nigh
While endless life's to share
Best whilst you live, before you die
Spare time, give God a prayer.....
