Misty image of my village
drops of first rain in the summer
fragrance of damp soil
Smile of jasmine in the backyard
Nesting pigeon on the temple roof
Singing Koyal on banyan tree
Caressing warmth of paddy fields
Flying monsoon with wings of clouds
Music of Ghungroo on the roof of palm leaves
Soil of fields that gifts shoes of clay
to my naked feet on every visit
Tub of water that washes my feet
under the white flower tree
Memories in the timeline
Swimming little fishes against the stream of age
Broken images in the mirror of reality
The remnants of life
