Time Our Thief Poem by Tony Adah

Time Our Thief

Whether we count them or not
The minutes drift by us
Whether we are rich or poor
They tick by us
And shorten our days
Whether we are filled or hungry
They crawl by us
Stealing our time
At last the hour comes
And the minutes run on
Into seconds and like vapour
We are gone.
