Time to let Go

You walked me through kindergarden
Held my hand through first grade and up
But now its high school mommy
And i know how to stand up
Its time to let go
For you did everything you can do
But now its my turn, I have to see the world
Through my eyes and through my own view

poet Alfred Lord Tennyson

It little profits that an idle king,
By this still hearth, among these barren crags,
Match'd with an aged wife, I mete and dole
Unequal laws unto a savage race,
