Time To Play Poem by Tirupathi Chandrupatla

Time To Play

I wish I could
Handle time
Like a toy
In my hands.

I'm pretty sure
I'm not the only
One to feel it
That way.

If my wish
Comes true
Life would be
So different.

I could play
With time
Store and use it
At a later time.

I could then
Buy some time
In a store
For a dime.

Flowing water
Can be stored
By building a
Sort of a dam.

Storing time
Is only possible
To imagine
In wild thoughts.

With time
I can play
Nice to think
It that way.

Unfortunately we cannot toy with time! Your fancy to play with time cannot be dismissed as childish! Everyone of us at one time or the other entertain similar thoughts! Enjoyed much!

Yes, we would all like to play with time, like a toy. Wonderful poem, Sir
