Time Without End Poem by Duane Robert Pierson

Time Without End

Rating: 4.0

A poem for Gabriel
appeared suddenly one
late summer Sunday morning
upon seeing something in nature
excruciatingly beautiful
that everyone has seen before.

Awe at the immutable
mitigates futility
at wanting to share
something so precious
that is and always has been,
proposing hopefully
to a doubtful soul,
infinity within the scope
of human destiny.
