Time Zones In Orbital Distances

conditioned minds accept
prepared sliced preprogrammed
answers sliced up sequenced

ready to serve day and night cliches
day night are time relative systems
day night time locked measurements

day night is time no geography
the world turns angels curvature
are seasons to nomad geography

is survival knowledge crossing
time zones in orbital distances
divided into speed of terrain travel

obstacles heights of ascent descent
lacking ease of crow flies shortcuts
crossing space incorporates spiderglass

light strands light ripples waves
into wormholes instant arrivals
time tormented travel obsolete

weathering distances cold heat
handicaps on tracks proverbial roads
or opt for instant thought arrivals

new cat scans confirm astral travels
image brain activity revelations amazing
conscious brain blank empty spaces

personality mind is off voyaging where
trained in instantaneous travel arrivals
go pilgrims new worlds universe awaits

Poem of the Day

poet Walt Whitman

ARM’D year! year of the struggle!
No dainty rhymes or sentimental love verses for you, terrible year!
