Nicholas Nikolov

(April.6,1988 / Toronto)

Whether in the shine or overcast of day –
in the darkness or glimmering of any night;
whether it’s the time where the sun
gradually begins to fall asleep
or the hesitance of self-awakening
in the mornings –
the exact same principal routine
applies to both the moon – either crescent
or full – the diamond-twinkling stars
too, mimic their counterpart,
day in and day out in an endless cycle.
Our tremendous love,
will unchangingly be effervescent
for the lone fact that that our love
we have for one another is ineradicable,
such as the endlessness of a person’s life itself.

Poem of the Day

poet Pablo Neruda

I want you to know
